A Horseback Riding Dream Come True!

It came up one day in one of our talks.
I asked Alona about horses and her response:
"I dream to ride a horse!"

So I did what every Mother would do.
I called up Miss Joan and worked to make it happen!

Meet Ariel...Alona's new BFF!

The kids got to groom and saddle and feed the horses.
It was like a real life day in a working barn.

To say that she was in love, is a huge understatement.

She even shared her hair bow with Ariel!

Getting ready to ride
and as you can see on her face...
sooo excited!!

Miss Joan said she is a natural and has great posture for riding.
She could not believe she had never ridden before!

The smile on her face says it all!

And to think Ariel learned Russian that day as well!!

On the side lines, all these little cuties watched and wait for their turn!

Can you even get enough of this smile!
In her Buzz Lightyear Trucker Cap this girl is too cute for words!

And she was just as thrilled to ride as her big sis, even under that big helmet!

 Connor was a pro!
After all, he DID ride a blind horse in Florida!
And Miss Joan got the whole story! :)

Waa! Hoo!
Jake putting on his cow boy smile!

Another little sweetheart, having the time of her life!
Paigey wanted to be last. She was so excited to ride, but wanted to savor the moment! :)

Jake helped give Ariel and after the ride brush down.

Paige, unsure she'll be able to part from the barn and her new "baby."

Dear, sweet Miss Joan who, also had the time of her life,
listening to the laughter and seeing the smiles of making these girls dream come true!!

(I just love how Liza has her arm around Jake here!)

And a Culver's lunch to celebrate a great, great day!!
