Day One in Snapshot form:
Today was spent exploring...
the house, the yard, the closet!!!
The girls couldn't stop hugging us with thanks for the clothes that we had here waiting for them.
Eliza loves Steve. She just giggled at the attention he gave the kids while on the trampoline.
The trampoline is fun all it's own, but when Daddy comes out to play it take on a whole new fun!!
Alona and Jake took a few jumps, but then preferred the audience role.
Next up: Gingerbread Houses.
This was a great activity for when communication is difficult.
Everyone took it very seriously and the end results were beautiful! :)
We moved from gingerbread houses to candy cane cookie making.
And Alona, who has since told us she would like to become a chef, is quite good with a knife!
She can chop like nobody's business and I for one am blessed by her help!
Eliza, on the other hand, prefers to be anywhere that Steve is!
She rarely never leaves his side and hangs on his every word,
even though she has NO idea what he is saying!! :)
Paige is enjoying having a big sister around! The girls sat on the couch just drawing pictures together.
Not a bad first day.
It's hard not to full out speak your hearts to each other,
but we're making some good progress and we're blessed by their being here.
