July 4th at Mullet Lake- Part 2

Paige was NOT open bit happy about the fact that she was left behind on a trip to visit Great-Grandpa  (when the boys went in May) and when she heard about all the fun things they did, she wouldn't stop asking when she would get to go.

She was VERY excited to learn we were planning a trip...

And she was NOT disappointed.

Hunting for Frogs!

Never mind that she's wearing a dress, NOTHING will stop this girl from getting into the action!

They did this for hours!
Just exploring the ditches out near the road.

Eeewww!

Meanwhile, Daddy & Grandpa discuss life and its solutions.

What would a trip Up North be without the swing!?

 A little kayaking...

A little fishing prep...

A little toad catching
(in her PJ's!)

A little toad RACing!

Don't ask. (You really don't want to know!)

Fishing on a beautiful sun-lit lake!

Afternoon mail reading...

A little archery...

A little swimming
(even at the age of 94, the water is still inviting!)

The gymnastics NEVER stops :)

Nor does the silliness...

A beautiful view...

"ice" fishing...

Monkey see, monkey do...

A sunset boat ride...

A campfire...

with the works!

The camera woman is robbed of her prize possession...

And forced to face the fury of her own tricks...

Reliving some memories of yesterday.
A spot we visited often before our family began.

A little "doll house" fun...

A little driveway chalk...

A little work...

A little crafting...
 making friendship bracelets.

A little exploration of technology...

A family bike ride..

Night time fishing...

 And reflecting...

The Forth of July  Parade in Cheyboygan, was right outside out hotel.
It couldn't have been more perfect.

Connor took these shots for Papa...

Princess for Paigey.

 How to Train a Dragon
