We had a wonderful time on Orphan Sunday gathering with other friends who share our heart for looking after the orphans and widows. 

We read heart-breaking stories and statistics.

Watched several eye-opening video clips

Jessica Stanek share her precious story of purchasing identical pink pig stuffed animals to give to her adopted sisters when the arrive.  She thought they would like that they all had the same one!

Katelyn Malone share an intro to one of the videos and why she chose it to watch with us.

We looked at our own homes, closets, playrooms and eating habits and then looked at pictures of what the average orphanage has for their beds, clothes and food.

Who knew that 15 years + years ago the friendships that God was planting would be carried on and reunited in over sweet orphans.
