One of the blessings of schooling at home is that we can go on some pretty amazing field trips!
Today we joined our friends the Malone's and the Charleton's and visited Wilcott Farm and Mill.
We saw cows get milked...
Played with goats and sheep...
Learned that pigs are the second cleanest animal in their hygiene & eating habits!
They only roll in mud to cool down!
And apparently they are more trainable than dogs!! (who knew!?)
The Fall colors were breath taking!

Then we visited the Flour/Grain Mill
We all got to grind our our corn.
And make our own flour!
It was really a day well spent. The kids (& Mom's) learned a lot and we had a fabulous time!
