Holy Week 2012

It's Holy Week and Jake want to out the Palm Sunday journey to Jerusalem.
This was his own creation and idea.
Jake is the donkey. His dolphin, Dixie is playing the part of Jesus.

We did Ann Voskamp's "Journey to the Cross" this year.
The pics show different scenes of Christ's life and then we hung them on the tree after reading a devotional about the particular picture.

Thursday evening we held our Last Supper.
Connor led us in communion.

Then we took turns washing each other's feet.

I wonder if the disciples giggled as much as we seem to do when we observe this tradition!?

Our tree with all the pictures hung.

This is our Easter garden.  It was fun to put together. But, the grass never filled in like we had hoped. Not sure if it was too hot in Florida. If we didn't get the right grass or if it just didn't get spread correctly. We did get some growth. But, I didn't seem to get a pic of it.
We'll try this again next year for sure!

S'more Please!

Jake got a new Light Saber for his birthday so there have been many Sabor battles on the patio this weeks than I can even count!

Love this face!

One of the sweetest times we've had in the evenings during our stay have been our campfires.

Ooweey, gooeey!  Yum!

We wait for the fire to get to the perfect embers before breaking out the marshmallows.

We sit around and chat.
We share the things we admire about each person.
We share our favorite memories.

We snuggle.
Sing songs.

We sit and watch the fire.
And thank Jesus for all His blessings!
