Bogganing & Disney on Ice

The title of my blog (More is Caught than Taught) hit home for me last weekend as Connor diligently decorated the house for my birthday. He had it all planned out, right done to the serving me breakfast in bed. Steve loves the help and the kids just got so giddy about making my day special. It was such a treat for me on so many levels.

Jake spruced up my chair at the table.

And this was the GREAT job that they did!!

Most weekends (particularly Sunday's) we spend right here.

Jake is just taking a little rest by the fire.

We went "bogganing" as a family one night.
SOOO SOOO much fun!

Here's Con on the snowboard:

Daddy thought he broke a rib hitting one of the big jumps that was on the hill.

He's such a great sport though. He kept right on going...pain and all!

Did I mention we had a really great time!??

Paige flew right out of her sled. It didn't faze her but for big laughs and she was right back at it again. She is one tough girl. She even carries her own sled up the VERY big hill.

She's going to be one to watch in the future. She's going to be a pink tutu wearing jock that can keep up with the best of them!

She LOVES the snow board and had ZERO fear!

Friday we had the day off of school and went as a group with other Preschool families to see Disney On Ice!! Here is Paigey with her sweet friend, Pamela!

Jake with his buddies, Jack & William

Connor and his buddy, Daddy, who took some time off of work to join us!

It was just precious to watch Paigey and all her little friends in awe of the show.
I think I enjoyed watching them more than what was happening on the ice!

When the first princess hit the ice the entire crowd yelled out her name! It was adorable. Here is Princess Tiana and Prince Navine from Princess & the Frog. The girls were very excited to watch them dance!

The real life princesses!

Paigey doing her "Princess wave" good-bye!

William & Jake being tough boys who loved the show!
