A New Addition

We were able to bring our new yellow lab puppy home just about a week earlier than expected. We surprised the kids with the news last Saturday morning and we drove to Taylor, Michigan to pick up our newest family member.

Connor was lovin' playing with the entire litter. 8 puppies and 3 adult dogs! It was crazy!

Meet Wriggley Sweet Posey

Born on February 18th, 2010

We brought him home at 7 weeks old.

Connor's first round of business was to give him his own "puppy" to play with!

Our first injury was NOT one of the kids, but Steve!

He comped his nose!!

But, it wasn't anything a Snoopy Band-aid couldn't fix!

Wriggley already has a girlfriend. Our friends the Ruzyki's also got a puppy this week and Pipers and Wriggley hit it off perfectly.

Caring for Wriggely has been a family project.

Everyone chips in. Sometimes we take turns, sometimes we all work together!

We were originally planning to find a dog that would be ready when the kids got out of school for the summer. But, I think this timing was ideal. The kids still being in school 5 half days a week, enables Wriggley some much appreciated down time!

We sleep with him...

We play with him...

We train him...

And when we're not stealing his home...

We're decorating him with Princess stickers!

God bless this Sweet dog, he's a great sport and a most loved addition to our family.

Easter

Easter ending up being everything that I was hoping it would be and more. Our 40 days of anticipation and preperation built up beautifully to a very exciting and fun filled celebration of our Savior's Resurrection.

It was the first Easter since we've had kids that it has been warm enough to even consider pictures outside on Easter morning!

This one is for Aunt Pam's.

I know her well enough to know that this will be one of her Posey favorites!

We had some very silly yet excited little ones ready tackle the yard and collect Easter eggs!

Daddy may have made the egg hunt a little too easy! But, oh, what fun they had!

Grammy, Papa, Uncle Josh and Aunt Lisa all joined us for Easter Lamb!

And for dinner we had pizza with RISING crust! (that was for you, Charity!)

Uncle Mike, Aunt Kate, Nate, Erica and Jared all joined us for late afternoon fun and dinner!
