The Beach!

Those words just bring a smile to our faces!

These three chickadees love, love, love the water 

and the ocean & sand just adds a whole new element of fun!

A little football to start out the day...

Followed by much digging and creating in the sand...

Surfs up, Dude!

Paige wanted nothing more on this trip than to be a surfer girl!

She got a "Barbie Surfs the Waves" DVD for her birthday 

and it's been her focus for the last 3 months!

The experience did not disappoint!

She was fearless and love EVERY minute of it!

Jake and Connor joined in the fun, but not nearly with the vigor that their surfer girl sister had!

And even when a 100 pound kid caught a wave and took Paige down, scraping her face on the bottom of the ocean floor, she got back up, face scraped on one side from forehead to chin and kept right on going.  (Later the reality of its sting began to pain, but she wasn't going to let that keep her out of the water!)

And again...

 And again...

I think this smile says it all...

A little resting, snacking...

A little napping...

And a quiet, PJ donned ride home.

(Actually, they ended up wearing their PJ's into a restaurant for dinner!
