Jake continues to blow us away with his many amazing creations. After watching a show on the day in the life of Fed Ex Air, he asked me to download a picture for him of a Fed Ex plane. Below you will see the 3D plane he made with the letting on both sides. The picture really doesn't do it justice.
Creating continues to be the family favorite activity! I believe we were heading to space in this attire.
The space ships...
And what type of a shuttle ride would it be without the WHOLE family!
Here's the whole crew, helmeted up and ready for take off!
We finally had our first snow day!! It's always so fun to have pajama day and fun in the snow! We started the day with homemade waffles and Paige was already in her snow pants (night gown tucked inside) before the rest of us were even finished with breakfast! We were in the snow before the clock hit 9 AM. It was a great time! Paige LOVES snowboarding and sledding! She has no fear and keeps up pretty well with the boys!
We also welcomed Helania, our next door neighbor on our snow day as well. We hadn't seen her for a long time (hibernation!) so the kids really enjoyed reuniting! (Plus she has cool sleds!)
Connor showed up for breakfast Sunday morning with this very handsome tie! He wore it to church and of course, had many compliments on it!
We had a rockin' Super Bowl party in our bedroom, stocked with appetizers and the works!

And Family Movie Night became Family Football night. We cheered loud, but the Colts didn't win, however it was a great game and we were actually very happy for Saints.
Paige has become a much more endearing over the last few months and she milks her love for Daddy for every drop! She's constantly reminding him that she's "Daddy's Little Princess!" (And after three and a half years of whining...Daddy is loving all this new attention!)
On Girls Day (which is every Tuesday while the boys are in school) Paige & I worked VERY hard on her Valentine's. She signed her name to each one and we used the class composit picture to put the pictures of each of her friends on the cards so she would know who to give it to. It was brilliant! :) And she worked so hard so you can imagine my pure dumbfoundedness when I opened her backpack after school on her party day to find all her Valentine's tucked in her backpack just where we had placed them the night before!!! As room mom for Connor I was only able to pop in and out of Paige's party. I'm not sure how it got over looked, but she truly had a great time so she wasn't overly heart broken! She handed them out the following school day.
Jake's class set up a post office to help them practice their Math unit. We addressed each Valentine with his friends house number and then prior to the party everyone played Postmaster (hat included!) and delivered their cards to each person's mail box.

(The Post Office is both Kindergarten classes)

I was able to create the fun, as room mom for Connor's class. Con loves it when I visit his class room and looked forward to this for weeks! He created his own Valentine sweater by cutting out hearts and taping them to his sweater (maybe he's going to be a clothing designer!)
This was Paigey's first Valentine party outside of our home and she was just LOVIN' it!!

I think that Valentine's day has become the new Halloween with all the loot the kids brought home! It's no longer a give a paper Valentine to the one you love, it's give a Valentine, a sucker, a box of candy, pencil, a pack of stickers, a bag of M&M's....let's just say we have enough candy to last us until well past Easter!
I love the pancakes, and I can't wait to play battle ship with the kids when I come to visit next!
